about

I'd made music in the late 80's & early 90's on various home instruments like the Yamaha PSS270, DD10, and the Casio CT470. Then worked with the Amiga. But it was just for my ears (Still have the tapes in the basement though). When the PS1 came out, there was Music, then Music 2000, and it was sounding a lot better, but still not great. You can find that stuff on my profile on hearthis.at/startledbunny I stopped making music on the PS1 around 2001.
Then along came Podcasts, and the Podsafe Music Network. In 2005 I uploaded some of those PS1 tracks, and people liked them, so I decided to make some new music in the following year, with some more professional software. The tracks on this album are the end result.

about

amb26 Huddersfield, UK

amb26 is Antony Barnes. I started making music as a teenager, and have dabbled off and on over the years. The albums are from works from 2006-2012. I resurfaced in 2014 under the guise of AMB X, and again in 2020 as Startledbunny. These are purely electronic works, with influences of Jean Michel Jarre, William Orbit, Depeche Mode and many more. ... more
